Job Description:

  • Remote position with 5-10 hrs/week to start (Independent Contractor)

  • Salary will be commensurate with experience

  • The Business Coordinator will work closely with our founders to evaluate, recommend, and implement business needs to help build a successful business and marketing structure.

  • To be successful, the Coordinator needs to be a driven self-starter who is passionate about freeing peoples' voices. They will have prior experience with growing startup businesses, setting up systems, and both project & team management. This position will collaborate with all internal positions, creating flow and helping to implement tasks to increase awareness, engagement, sales, social media strategy, and community engagement. It requires strong interpersonal and communication skills that support individuals and teams, effective problem resolution, and the ability to sustain successful working relationships.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Help scale the business by crafting and directing business strategy to support growth of current programs and expansion of new events, keynotes, programs, workshops, conferences, retreats

    etc. according to the founders' vision and team capacity.

  • Review and manage current software platforms and operations to make sure they are scalable and efficient in support of all growth goals.

  • Reduce workload from manual tasks through effective automation and process improvements.

  • Research, review, and implement systems, software, and solutions needed for the evolving

    business structure.

  • Provide feedback and present reports to the founders as requested.

  • Collaborate with, and possibly lead, other team members to meet key deadlines and goals.

  • Drive team meeting agendas, facilitation, and follow-up to ensure efficient use of time and continued progress against ongoing tasks.

  • Craft & edit copy for marketing messaging across website, newsletters, socials, etc.

  • Create and implement multistage project plans for various types of company initiatives.

  • Create and manage social media accounts to promote community growth and engagement and increase sales performance.

  • Plan, execute, and report on marketing and social engagement campaigns spanning multiple digital platforms, including assessing goals and identifying trends, opportunities, insights, and

    budget flow.

  • Work hand-in-hand with Program Coordinator and BE team members to execute content creation as needed for classes, workshops, and other events.

  • Other duties as agreed upon.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Education:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask across multiple workstreams.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning

  • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.

  • Copywriting experience, including the ability to create materials and communications that are compliant, meeting all industry related requirements/regulations.

  • Ability to hold the "big picture" view of projects and goals in addition to being able to zoom into details and hands-on execution.

  • Familiarity in working across various marketing, RM, web design, and project management platforms (examples: Squarespace, Kajabi, Shopify, Monday, etc)

  • Associate degree preferred or previous experience in similar business or related field.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Bending or twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, climbing, and walking. Safely moving or lifting objects up to 15 pounds. Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is almost exclusively a computer-focused, office-based position. It is required that this individual is adept in using multiple forms of technological communication. If working outside of the office at any point, it is imperative that the person who fills this role is easily accessible and responsive during business hours.

TRAVEL

Some travel is expected for this position. Periodic meetings with the founders upon their request.
